Back home.

Mummy had a lunch gathering with her friends at a hotel and didn;t come and fetch me from the airport. But here is a note welcoming me back home. It was cute. I loved it. Daddy and Mummy are always there to make me feel loved and smile.

This is my fav. photo of Mummy and Daddy. They are trying to imitate me putting the V V sign during photo-taking. Taken on a trip to Penang last X'mas. Love them. :)

Saturday. WingYan & Gabriel's wedding dinner at Fort Canning - The legend.
Wishing them Happy Marriage. They are only 3 years older than me! Unbelivable.Where would I be after 3 years? ",

Wingyan's was my Secondary 4 St John's senior when I was secondary one. Things just happened. So quickly.

The happy SJAB gals.

Seniors that made me grew up. Like how they see me grow, I see them mature in the same way. It has been 8 years. :D People that would always be on my mind.

Today, I went running with Bernie at East Coast Park under the clear blue glazing sky.:)Coming to think of it, it is my first time running along the beachside(usually I just cycle). Enjoyable feeling. :D

Didn't manage to take a photo but I copied one from the Internet. This is East Coast Park.

JC friends.
Breeks. K box. Photos. Dinner. Catching up with old friends are really a joy. Life's that simple.
Issac was filled with seriously interesting NS stories.

Buddy Kristin Peh.

Edrei and me. He used to call me "Zi high queen" and I used to call him "Zi High boy" back in JC. I totally forget about it until he reminded me of it today. :P

End of Semester 2 - memories.

On my way to Hong Kong International Airport. This is my second time taking a flight back home. Time does flies. I learnt a lot in terms of school work and interpersonal relationship. I made loads of nice friends and professionals and there were always there to share my sweet memories.

I was happy that I ended with an excellent grade for Pt Diagnosis and Mgt of M-skel Dysfunction I though I only managed to get a B+ for Fundamentals of Electrophysical Therapy I pract. I would never forget to ask about the cardiac pacemaker of a patient while I do SWD.

My dear sweet room mate. I am only going to see her next year in 2009! She is going over to Austria next year. Sooo going to miss her!!! BIG HUG. I would never forget the times we had. Here is a pic of the you in bed.
---To you:Remember the exercises I taught, do it daily ah!!! Have fun in Austria!

The day before I left for Singapore. We went singing, shopping, adventure land and ended up having Korean buffet.

Chung Fung tried to say I LOVE YOU to gracee in a game but he failed. :D It was fun though. :D

On our last day of exam. We went steamboat at You Ma Tai! It was fish fish and more fish. Div, H, Freddie, Ivy, me, Carina plus more more more.
Later, we skipped to Lan Kwai Fang for celebration. Never had so much shots in my life. Simply crazy. The middle two are Div's friends from London. Aarti and Hemant.

These are my buddies in school.Karen and Grace! Although we are not in the same group for practicals, we basically eat together during lunch. :)

These are members of our Phyiotherapy Society. They are in charge of our physiotherapy products like jackets and slippers and organising events that boost our spirits and bond us. This poster was distributed during their voting period.

These are my STAR (Sport Training and Rehabilitation) members! Year 1 ,2 and 3 kiddos! THE BASKETBALL sport physio support team! We went having desserts on our last training day. :D Supervisors were out of the pic. Sob.

During the 4 months, me and room mate would eat out sometimes during the weekend! Here are 2 photos. :D

Recently. 2nd exam period.

The fact that I am not blogging lately showed that I am under great stress. I feel guilt doing other things either than studying or practising for practicals. Deep in me, I understand the need for relaxation and I often try to put it in my schechule. However, after around 1 hours of TV or slacking in front of the computer, I felt that I have wasted a lot of time. "Finding time to relax" seems to have become an excuse from study instead of a neccesity in life. Obviously, it's an indication of stress. Am I expecting too much from myself?

Last Monday, Human Development Across Lifespan(HDL) finally came to end with the handing in of our report. The report was the initiator of a series of blood-sucking events ahead. That Friday before the Monday, I had my first experience staying in school till 12 midnight to compete our report (it was not done by the way). I bought my dinner on the way back to the hostel. It's really amazing the number of crowded noodle stalls that were still in sight at a time near to 1am. Maybe, that's Hong Kongers way of life. I spent that weekend editting the report and studying for the coming examinations. Sometimes, I wonder the reason for my tiredness, I realised that I am spending a lot of time on reports and presentations that some people do not. These people often expect the job of those responsible around. Maybe, that's the way of life. Equilibrium never exits in life and I shouldn't be too angry about it. Often, Mummy mentions that it is fortunate to be able to be the one to serve and do it. I hold on this value in life and it does put me through somehow.

The whole of last week was study and more studying. Sleeping time was greatly reduced to 4 hours at night and intermittent 10 minutes nap. Notes and books were all stacked up on my desk, my eyes were forever twitching ( I don't know how it started) and my brain was fighting to strive on. Adding on to this chaos was dysmenorrhea, sometimes, I just feel like giving up. Classmates and seniors who had gone through the suffer were really a great source of motivation. With people hugging together, strength was ignited. At least, I pulled through last week.

Thursady was the end of our last written exam. It was also my first time screwing up an essay paper in Hong Kong. I forgot the description of the classification of drugs for asthamtic patient, blank on the presentaion for thyrodism and didn;t manage to have enough time to answer the renal question properly. Maybe, I could gurantee the third question for a full mark. Yet, I just totally feel I P.K. the paper. Hope it doesn't pull down so badly for my physiology grade. -- 40%. Please do not break my record of getting lower than a B.

Well, it seems like everybody was not very happy about the paper. To relief our stress, more than half of physiotherapy year 1 student went K-singing. We singed, played cards, played Wee, danced, laughed. Afterwards, my clitch went to the wet market to buy stuffs and took a taxi to SM's house for steamboat. The place was rented by my friend and his gang. A place managed by 6 guys was simply horrible. Rubbish.Dust. Anyway, we had great fun there.Majong.Uno.Dish-washing. haha.

The next day(Firday), we were back to school for revision lesson for PTDX (PT Diagnosis and Management of musculoskeletal I).Practised for EPT till 6pm.

Saturday. Practised EPT (Electrophysical therapy). (8am- 6pm)
This pic was taken during one of our EPT lesson. Danny on an IFT (Interferential therapy - suction method) on his low back. :)

Sunday. Practised PTDX. (1pm - 6pm)
Studied Maitland and chatted on MSN and blogged till now.

Good night. (3am)

Besides, this is the Heyerobics I am attending lately.
The instructor is really charismatic!haha. "D

Loss of USB in hospital

I find this really cool! Do other universities response to such news and write a warning and reminding letter to their students? Or are they coerced by the media and Hospital Authority (HA) to do so?

Dear Colleagues and Students,

It is recommended that logs be kept of the details of such movement of information for tracking purposes. For hard copies containing confidential or sensitive information, please ensure that the transporting of the papers and their destination are secure and safe.
